Your first course assignment addresses the Triple Aim which focuses on healthcare quality improvement in three specific areas: (a) population health, (b) enhanced patient experience, and (c) lower healthcare costs. In adding a fourth aim, the Quadruple Aim now recognizes the importance of work- life balance for healthcare providers (Sikka et al., 2015).
